What's your business, and who are your customers?
Hi, I'm Mary - I'm a Top Rated freelancer with a B.F.A. in Computer Graphics. I have been creating Explainer Animations & Promo Videos for over ten years.
I specialize in creating commercial explainers & promo videos for small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs. I offer an "all-in-one" service, where I can help with script writing and even provide the voice-over if needed, in addition to the video production.
I also offer social media content design services which include post writing & graphic design, which can be used on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Tell us about yourself
After college, I realized I wanted to be my boss and started doing freelance graphic design work from home. What motivates me each day is looking at other freelancers and artists - I love being inspired by them and coming up with new ideas for my services. You can learn a lot from other entrepreneurs in your industry.

Staying up to date with new technology and working your time effectively.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Put yourself in your customer's shoes. Ask yourself if your product or service is of value to them and at the best quality you can deliver.
- Set your work hours - Avoid distractions during the day, and avoid checking e-mails at midnight or working on projects at 1 am. Set reasonable work hours for yourself.
- Research, research - Look at other freelancers or business owners for inspiration and check out their social media pages & websites. But never copy. Always put your unique spin on the services or products you offer.
