Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Miranda Wyatt, an Intuitive Women's Life Coach based in Pell City, AL, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help women live their best life through their dark feminine power. They learn how to get around nonsense and get what they want in life. My clients are women who are ready to be in control. Women who are tired of feeling like they're at the losing end of life want to shift into greatness. These women want to be in charge of their lives instead of just being at the mercy of others and of fate. The mentality I teach helps them think around obstacles, stagnation, and unhelpful people so they can get what they want and need in daily life situations and lay there on their pill at night knowing they've squared away and safe.

Tell us about yourself

My family is from Pell City, Alabama, and I have a son who is my raison d'etre. I practice Egyptian Saidi Bellydance, I make historical costumes, and I make jewelry that I sell on Etsy. I have a huge library and love to study history and spirituality, but I have books on every topic.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I get to watch women unveil their own dark feminine power that has always been dormant within them and live every day on the outside like the goddesses they are on the inside. Being my own boss and not being at the mercy of others has changed my life in ways I'd have never imagined.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Hearing stories from my clients that make me wish I could just hug them.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Don't listen to anyone who tells you not to do it.
  2. There will be jealous people. Ignore them.
  3. Put your well-being first. This includes a lot of rest.
  4. Don't be afraid to invest in yourself. Know that you have your own back.
  5. Have a clear vision, and don't ever give up on yourself.
