Tell us about yourself

Lived the experience of a sibling who experienced anxiety at a young age which developed into psychosis, and not knowing how to help was the key motivator to starting my business. Then recognizing the impact of watching others have lightbulb moments through the training continues to be a huge motivation.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Knowing that I am doing the right thing through repeat business is always a great feeling of accomplishment. Testimonials and feedback that have made a difference in others' wellbeing.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Marketing and selling are always a huge part of business development when you are self-employed, especially when you are keen to work on the stuff that you love; recognizing this part of the process is a big learning experience.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Pick something you are passionate about; this really helps when there are peaks and troughs with business development.
  2. Being authentic will help to give you the edge over your competition, and of course, people buy from people. Having the strategies to manage your own wellbeing through this process is really key to your success.
  3. Don't be afraid to ask for help; networking is a great way to get recognized, build relationships and get the support you need.
