What's your business, and who are your customers?

Super effective natural deodorants in eco-friendly packaging and shampoo and conditioner bars. Our products appeal to those who are looking for natural and organic products that are environmentally friendly, sustainable, and work well.

Tell us about yourself

I started reacting to some of my beauty products, so I needed to find something more natural and less synthetic. I could not find a deodorant that would last me through my busy work day or exercise. I started losing my confidence in being able to be out and about all day, so I decided to explore making my own deodorant. Once I found something effective, the idea of sharing this with others was planted.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I am proud of being able to make and bring products to market where I can use quality ingredients and also have a paperboard tube, so no one will find a POSY deodorant tube on a beach in 50 years' time.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Staying motivated when the going gets tough. Learning all new skills which you need in order to run a business, such as marketing, accounts, and customer service for example. Navigating the many laws for cosmetics.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Just do it. Procrastination needs to be kicked to the side.
  2. Ask questions and read a lot - there are many people who are willing to help.
  3. Protect your brand name by registering your trademark.
