Sold and then implemented leadership training programs for corporations for a decade. Then became a speaker, focusing on Personal Accountability. Our company provides training, speaking, and books on Personal Accountability. The best-selling book is titled "QBQ! The Question Behind the Question."

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Growing a business from scratch. Starting with an idea and developing it into a training process that adds great value to people and organizations. Our message of Personal Accountability is now implemented in corporations, nonprofits, the military, prison facilities, churches, etc.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Staying focused on why you exist. Not getting distracted. Knowing what you're good at. Always avoid the temptation to try to become all things to all buyers.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Know why you exist (your mission).
  2. Take complete ownership of all results.
  3. Making no excuses.
