What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a divorce coach that helps both men and women to navigate the emotional side of divorce and to create a vision of a compelling future.

Tell us about yourself

I have a degree in psychology and have studied relationships for many years. I went through a divorce myself eight years ago and became an avid reader and discovered many men and women are going through much worse divorces than me. In these times, some of them did not make the right decisions, and these can have lasting results. I qualified as a divorce coach in 2020 to add to my existing skill set. My mission is to help as many people as possible and help them plan a brighter future.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

At this time, I have helped hundreds of people to realise divorce is not the end and that the dream life they always dreamed of is possible now.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The hardest thing is staying motivated on a daily basis. You must always remember your why.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Have a vision of where you want to be in a year, five years, and ten years.
  2. Have an end goal in mind and break it down, and set daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  3. Reach out to people that have set up a similar business, as I find many like to help you succeed.
