What's your business, and who are your customers?

Hi, I am Rhea Ashcraft, I facilitate art workshops that allow you to trust your creative side while playing painting and pausing. I am also a reiki master and help my clients love themselves more by looking deep into themselves and finding what brings them the most joy. My clients are people of all walks of life that are looking to feel better and live better in their bodies.

Tell us about yourself

I was born into an artist family, my grandmother an oil painter, my mother a watercolorist, and my father a land visionary; he could see, feel and understand the ecosystems. I started doodling at a young age which brought me much comfort in my body and an escape mechanism from the world around me. I was a people pleaser and had self-worth issues. Leaping into my art and the energy that I received from the colors and images that would appear brought me much joy. The communication between my art piqued my interest in becoming a Reiki Master too. Today I enjoy painting my personal works as well as commission pieces. I also facilitate art workshops bringing you more joy and happiness through the process that brought me to know myself joyfully better.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner has been consistency and trust.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the most challenging things in being a business owner is living in the meantime and the ebbs and flows. Knowing that it isn't personal, it is business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

I would recommend doing what lights you up most. Trust that your vision is your own and is needed in the world as your own voice and to leap.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I wish you all the opportunity to trust and love yourself fully and unapologetically.
