What's your business, and who are your customers?
I run art classes and am dedicated to teaching all kinds of sketching, watercolor, Oils, Acrylic, Pastels, and Charcoal. I mainly teach kids of all ages. I found that there are not many opportunities around for kids to learn all basic concepts of arts, so I thought of starting one in my home-based studio in New Berlin.
Tell us about yourself
I am an engineer by profession, and I work in Opentext. I am an artist by passion. I started my art school in November 2019 when my friends around asking me to teach their kids, and now I have kids from all over USA and India. I offer both in-person and virtual classes. What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is reaching out to kids all over the USA with my virtual class offerings.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
There is nothing called the hardest thing, as I believe that when there is a will, there is a way. I am a busy mom with two kids and a wife to take care lot of things and my art classes.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
