What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our business focuses on providing physiotherapy and chiropractic services, catering to a diverse range of customers. Our clients include individuals recovering from car accidents, those seeking relief from back pain, shoulder injuries, knee arthritis, and wrist pain, as well as athletes dealing with sports injuries.
Tell us about yourself
I am a member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Also a graduate of the University of Western Ontario in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree and a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2000 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Helping people with their pain motivates me to do what I do every day.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
While obtaining a master's degree in physiotherapy, my work in rehabilitation after a knee injury was published in the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Treating sciatica is one of the hardest things in our profession.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Make sure you love what you do.
- Be aware of changes in technology around you.
- Be able to change fast and ask for help.
