Tell us about yourself

I am passionate about understanding how highly productive teams quickly unlock productivity by finding the key to collaboration while other teams continue to blindly search for the key. The pursuit of outstanding results motivates me. Through behavioral science, we (Vivo Team) create winning companies by inspiring leaders and teams to increase competence, motivation, and collaboration.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Definitely building this team of highly engaged, alive, accountable, and collaborative individuals. They are the best ambassadors of our values: We are creators, we are leaders, we are champions. I’m proud of the ongoing opportunity to share this philosophy with others. Those who partner with Vivo Team have seen their workplace culture and profitability soar!

With 59% of people still working from home (according to the Pew Research Center), Vivo Team is confident that we will continue to inspire leaders and teams to be more effective, efficient, connected, and satisfied.

As a highly functioning and well-connected, remote-first team, I have the confidence and trust to work from anywhere and take full advantage of the WFH model–right now, that’s Barbados!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Navigating risk and uncertainty while maintaining the ability to say a small or big, yes to move decisions forward in a timely manner.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do it now! You will experience aliveness in your life.
  2. Hire a project manager/admin assistant before you think you can afford one.
  3. Develop a great relationship with your bank manager and update them on your progress regularly.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Yes, be willing to listen and be influenced by others, plus wrap yourself with mentors to support your vision and to be a sounding board for major decisions.
