What's your business, and who are your customers?

I specialize in empowering female entrepreneurs to achieve economic empowerment and live a purposeful life. As a dedicated business coach, I am here to guide you on your journey toward securing financial independence and realizing your true potential.

Tell us about yourself

I've had an epic adventure in the corporate world, spending a whopping 20 years as a trailblazing leader in the banking industry. But you know what? My entrepreneurial spirit couldn't be contained, so I ventured into the world of startups and built some amazing ventures from the ground up.

To level up my game and make an even bigger impact, I decided to take the leap and get certified in empowering women's leadership at none other than Cornell University. Talk about going all out! Now, armed with a wealth of experience, a sprinkle of corporate know-how, and a dash of startup magic, I'm here to guide you on your own journey. Together, we'll unlock your full potential, break barriers, and create a life and business that fills you with pure joy and fulfillment.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

As a business owner, my greatest triumph has been shattering the glass ceiling and closing the wealth gap for women. I've made it my mission to empower women to rise to their full potential and soar to new heights of success.

Witnessing the incredible transformation as women break free from limitations and spread their wings has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. Every step we take toward equality and economic empowerment is a giant leap forward, and I'm proud to have played a part in this empowering journey.

By equipping women with the necessary tools, knowledge, and support, I've witnessed firsthand the incredible impact they can make on the world. Together, we're creating a future where women not only succeed but thrive, leaving an indelible mark on society.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Being a business owner is no walk in the park, and one of the toughest challenges we face is learning to embrace the rollercoaster ride of highs and lows. The emotional tide that accompanies the peaks and valleys can be quite the adventure.

Let's face it; there are moments when we're riding high on a wave of success, celebrating victories, and feeling on top of the world. But then, just as quickly, we may find ourselves navigating through rough waters, facing setbacks and uncertainties that can shake our confidence. However, it's important to remember that these peaks and valleys are a natural part of the entrepreneurial journey. They test our resilience, teach us invaluable lessons, and ultimately shape us into stronger and wiser individuals.

Sure, it can be emotionally challenging at times. We might experience self-doubt, frustration, or even moments of overwhelm. But here's the beautiful thing: We're not alone. Countless business owners have faced similar struggles and emerged triumphant.

So, let's embrace this wild ride together. Let's find solace in knowing that the peaks and valleys are not only normal but also opportunities for growth. As we navigate through the emotional tide, we'll learn to adapt, develop unwavering tenacity, and celebrate every victory, no matter how small.

Remember, my fellow entrepreneur, you've got what it takes to conquer these challenges and emerge stronger than ever. Together, we'll ride these waves, and on the other side, we'll find success, fulfillment, and a sense of pride in knowing we've conquered the journey. Hang on tight—it's going to be one exhilarating adventure!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

If I were to distill my top three tips for starting and growing a business, they would be:

  1. Harness the Power of Relationship Building: Building strong relationships is a cornerstone of entrepreneurial success. Never underestimate the value of networking, connecting with like-minded individuals, and fostering meaningful partnerships. Cultivate a strong support network of peers, mentors, and potential customers who can provide guidance, support, and opportunities. Remember, collaborations and referrals often stem from authentic relationships, so invest time and effort in nurturing them.
  2. Persistence Pays Off: Starting and growing a business can be a bumpy ride, and it's essential not to give up too quickly. Challenges and setbacks are inevitable, but they are also valuable learning opportunities. Stay resilient and tenacious, maintaining a long-term perspective. Adapt your strategies, learn from failures, and keep pushing forward. Remember, success rarely comes overnight; it's the result of continuous effort, perseverance, and a refusal to give up on your vision.
  3. Leverage the Power of Mentors: Seek out experienced mentors who can provide guidance and support throughout your entrepreneurial journey. Mentors offer valuable insights, share their wisdom, and can help you avoid common pitfalls. They can provide objective perspectives, challenge your assumptions, and inspire you to reach new heights. Don't be afraid to ask for help and tap into their expertise. A mentor's guidance can be a game-changer, propelling your business forward and helping you navigate through crucial decisions.
