Tell us about yourself

Driven, an empathetic and resourceful business leader with extensive experience in B2B markets with a passion for serving startups. Known for asking what, why, who, when, and where–seeing the symptoms, identifying gaps, and being able to analyze and discover the source of the problem and develop a plan of attack. Fostering strong relationships and collaboration to influence change and create a clear, actionable future.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I started my business in 2020. My biggest accomplishment so far as a business owner was just taking the hard first steps of starting my business. It is always a little bit of a leap.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is that the tone, direction, and ultimately the success of your business rests on your shoulders. Accountability and prioritization are key.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

The top 3 tips I'd give anyone looking to start, run or grow a business today are:

  1. Know YOUR why.
  2. Think BIG from the start. Where do you want to be in 5-10 yrs? Then work backward; how did you get there?
  3. Separate and differentiate between personal, hobby, and business matters.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Social corporate responsibility will continue to be a driving force for how future generations decide who, when, and why they buy their goods and services. There may be a future where boardrooms are filled with Gen Y and Gen Z leaders who first ask. "What problem are we best suited to solve in the world?". Then how does this affect the bottom line? These generations will continue to leverage their buying and working power to influence how businesses operate internally and externally in the world. It might not be too far of a stretch to imagine a future state where businesses are held to the standard of not only did they make the world a better place, but they did so in the best way possible.
